Hankuk Glass has expanded its premium product line through a business partnership with 'VEKA', Europe's No.1 window specialist. VEKA was the world's first company to develop PVC system windows, and with more than 40 years of accumulated in-house know-how, it is the world's top seller of system windows. By adopting VEKA's system windows, Hankuk Glass plans to strengthen its premium product lineup and offer a wide range of products.
△The ISS 190 sliding system window is a sliding system window developed by VEKA's German headquarters for the Korean market. It uses specially developed, dedicated hardware to open and close smoothly while boasting outstanding airtightness. Because its opening and closing method is similar to that of conventional domestic sliding windows, it enhances user convenience while delivering system-window-level airtightness performance through German engineering. In addition, by applying 'Spectral', an exterior-only film that VEKA is the first in the world to develop and supply, it enables a sophisticated exterior appearance and offers excellent durability against discoloration caused by ultraviolet light.
△The MD82 system window is an authentic European system window with a Tilt&Turn opening and closing method. Among profiles of the same 82㎜ width, it is the only one to achieve top-class thermal insulation through a 7-chamber structure. It is also a product that meets the demanding 'Class A' of the EN standard, offering excellent wind-pressure resistance that makes it applicable to high-rise buildings as well. Like the ISS190, it can be fitted with Spectral film, and as an 82㎜ single window it meets Grade 1 of the window energy efficiency rating.
△The exterior-only film 'SPECTRAL' is an exterior-only film that VEKA is the first in the world to develop and supply. Its soft-touch matte surface creates an elegant texture, and its advanced finishing provides excellent stain resistance. With no discoloration from UV, it keeps a building's exterior beautiful for a long time, and it is developed, designed, verified, and supplied to strict German standards.
Hankuk Glass first entered the window market in 2014 by launching 'Hankuk Glass Window'. Having smoothly established itself in the window market by winning orders for large apartment complexes and mixed-use residential projects from brand construction companies such as Line Construction, Moa Construction, and Yangwoo Construction, Hankuk Glass plans to further expand its window business going forward. An Jong-hyun, general manager of Hankuk Glass's Window Solution Team, said, "This will be a good opportunity to enter the premium B2C window market in line with the increasingly demanding expectations of consumers." 02-3706-9114
