In response to growing demand for interior boards, Hanssem launched two new products in the first half of this year: the 'Hanssem M board' and the 'Hanssem Wide Wall Plus.'
An interior board is a wall-finishing material made by attaching interior surface materials of various designs to wood. It has generally been used mainly in commercial spaces such as cafes, but as consumer interest in home decorating has recently increased, demand for it in homes is also on the rise.
Hanssem's newly launched 'Hanssem M board' and 'Hanssem Wide Wall Plus' realistically reproduce stone and natural marble in a variety of colors and patterns, including white and gray. Using interior boards can reduce costs by up to 50% compared with natural marble.
Their easy installation and low incidence of defects are also advantages. The 'Hanssem M board' is a large board measuring 590 mm wide by 2,400 mm high, and one wall of the living room in a 132㎡ (40-pyeong) apartment can be installed in just 2 to 4 hours. In addition, unlike wallpaper, it has fewer defects such as lifting, wrinkling, and gapping, and its excellent durability makes maintenance and care convenient.
Within this year, Hanssem plans to continue releasing a variety of new products for different uses, such as the 'Wainscoting Interior Board,' 'Tamba Board,' and 'Soundproof Board,' with enhanced installation convenience.
Jang Woo-soon, director of Hanssem's Rehaus Business Division, said, "The number of customers installing interior boards as accent points for wall finishes during recent remodeling projects is increasing," adding, "Interior boards are reasonably priced and convenient to install and maintain, so consumer interest is trending sharply upward."
Meanwhile, Hanssem's sales of home interior boards in the first half of this year increased more than 50% compared with the same period last year, earning a positive response from consumers. 02-6908-3114
