Hanssem (CEO and Chairman Kang Seung-soo) is launching the Rehaus 'Smart Home Package', which proposes its remodeling business Rehaus products together with home IoT devices as a package.
This past July, Hanssem decided to invest 3 billion won in 'GOQUAL', a venture company specializing in home IoT, in order to secure a leading position in the smart home field, a recent trend in the interior market. Hanssem has unveiled the 'Smart Home Package', which combines 'Hey Home', a home IoT device brand operated by GOQUAL, and its own cloud platform with Hanssem's remodeling package products.
The 'Smart Home Package' is a package product in which Hanssem's remodeling design experts, the 'RD (Rehaus Designer)', design various Hanssem Rehaus style package products together with a total of nine home IoT devices operated by GOQUAL throughout the home, and Hanssem's construction team handles everything from the remodeling construction to the installation of the smart devices.
All of the smart devices in the 'Smart Home Package' can be controlled through the 'Hey Home' app operated by GOQUAL. In particular, smart lighting switches and smart motorized curtain & blind products allow users to remotely turn lights on and off or open and close curtains and blinds using a smartphone. In addition, by entering desired conditions such as the day of the week and time, users can set up automatic control accordingly, and by linking an AI speaker, voice control is also possible. Furthermore, a major advantage is that users can implement their own convenient smart home life by remotely or automatically controlling the actions frequently performed at home and unnecessary activities according to their lifestyle. On top of this, customers can also purchase a smart home camera that lets them check inside the home in real time even while out, as well as a smart button product that stores frequently used smart device functions so they can be used without a smartphone. Going forward, Hanssem plans to add various smart devices such as smart door locks and motion sensors to the 'Smart Home Package'.
Ahn Heung-guk, President of the Hanssem Rehaus Business Division, said, "As activities carried out at home, such as remote work and remote education, have recently increased, the need for the smart home is growing. In this context, Hanssem has launched the Smart Home Package, which enables a variety of activities at home tailored to the user's lifestyle."
Meanwhile, in line with the launch of the 'Smart Home Package', Hanssem will also run an event through the end of this December offering a 50% discount on GOQUAL's smart devices to customers who install the 'Smart Home Package', including ▲lighting switches ▲smart buttons ▲smart hubs ▲Home Camera Pro ▲AI speakers.
