Hanssem Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Yu-jin), a total home interior specialist, has launched six new kitchen products in the 'Euro300' series, which reflect the textures and patterns of natural materials. Reflecting lifestyles in which people enjoy a variety of activities in the kitchen, the company is also unveiling new kitchen plans such as the 'study-style kitchen,' the 'hotel lounge kitchen,' and the 'agit (hideaway) kitchen.'
The six new 'Euro300' kitchen products reflect the recently growing interest in interiors that use modern colors and natural elements, offering natural designs that harmonize the textures and colors of natural materials such as wood, marble, and stone. With the launch of these new products, the Euro300 series has been expanded from 16 to 22 designs. The company has created a new 'Origin' line that reflects the textures of natural materials, introducing five designs: Natural Oak, Ash Walnut, Smokey Walnut, Caligo, and Bianco. Magnolia has been added to the 'Matt' line of basic colors. Euro300 Origin Natural Oak, Ash Walnut, and Smokey Walnut realistically render the distinctive patterns of wood and natural veneer grains. Caligo brings a soft, delicate stone pattern to the kitchen door, while Bianco features a bright, striking marble pattern. Magnolia, inspired by magnolia petals, is composed in a warm white color that conveys a warm and soft feel. In particular, the five designs in the Origin line are characterized by the use of the latest printing technology to render the patterns and textures of natural materials even more vividly. They apply decor paper from Schattdecor, a German global specialist in furniture surface materials, and the digital printing technology of the Losan Group, a Spanish design and wood specialist. In addition, a high-pressure press mirror finish is used to render the rough textures of natural materials with near-realistic fidelity, creating an even more sophisticated kitchen.
Furthermore, in keeping with an era in which the kitchen is expanding into a multifunctional space for enjoying various activities according to each individual's lifestyle, Hanssem is introducing a variety of specialty cabinets alongside the new Euro300 doors, and proposing kitchen plans with distinctive concepts such as the 'study-style' kitchen, the 'agit (hideaway),' and the 'hotel lounge.' First, the 'study-style kitchen' combines open wall shelving and a connected dining table so that residents can enjoy not only cooking but also reading and relaxing. The open wall shelf installed along one side of the wall can store books and magazines, drawing the eye as an interior focal point within the kitchen. Using 'Ash Walnut,' a low-saturation walnut color, adds a calm atmosphere to create a quiet study of one's own. For those who want to turn the kitchen into a community space where the family gathers together, an 'agit-style' kitchen can be created using 'Magnolia' and 'Natural Oak' doors. By installing an L-shaped island and a 'connected dining table,' you can create a spacious community space where the family enjoys cooking and conversation together. For customers who want to display a variety of objects in the kitchen, the company proposes the 'hotel lounge' kitchen. Using the 'Smokey Walnut' door, which combines a dark gray tone with a delicate veneer grain pattern, you can create a sophisticated atmosphere like a hotel lounge. In addition, in place of wall shelving, a tall-cabinet-style 'Layered shelf unit'—which serves as both a display case and kitchen storage—and a 'slim lighting shelf' that glows with soft illumination are installed. Here, just like a hotel lounge, you can arrange objects of your choice such as glasses and plates to create a display space all your own.
Meanwhile, until December 31, the various faces of the Hanssem kitchen can be experienced through the exhibition <Decor·Decor: Living Room Arcade>, held at the Ilmin Museum of Art in Jongno-gu, Seoul. In the second-floor gallery 'Taste and Design,' a study-style kitchen decorated with Euro300 Origin 'Natural Oak' and 'Caligo' is on display, and on the third floor, the 'Room of Encounters' presents heritage materials from Hanssem kitchens that have led residential culture over the past 50 years.
