Following its ‘Storyboard’ furniture-material door, Hansol Homedeco has launched the new ‘Storyboard LPM Body (Low Pressure Melamine)’.
LPM is a process in which melamine resin is applied over printed paper and compressed with heat and pressure. This process produces fewer scratch defects during the manufacturing, transport, and installation of furniture, minimizing inconvenience for furniture manufacturers, and it is eco-friendly because it is made with heat and pressure without any separate adhesive. For these reasons, LPM products are recognized as premium materials for furniture bodies and shelving items.
The newly introduced ‘Hansol Storyboard LPM Body’ is manufactured with this process, offering excellent scratch resistance, stain resistance, color-fastness, and water resistance. In particular, it uses eco-friendly E0-grade PB material that emits formaldehyde at 0.5 mg/L or less, making it suitable for use as the internal body and shelving of kitchen furniture, where ventilation is poor. In addition, it enhances customer satisfaction through color matching that pairs best with the ‘Storyboard Door’, which is widely used as a furniture door in Korea. The ‘Hansol Storyboard LPM Body’ patterns comprise a total of 12 types, including 4 solids, 4 stones, 2 fabrics, and 2 woods.
The solid-series ▲Biella White ▲Biella Grey ▲Biella Brick were developed with the high-quality wool of Italy’s Biella region as their motif. Among them, Biella Brick features an orange color reminiscent of Hermès, and when used in open cabinets or accessory drawer units it can complete unique and distinctive furniture. The stone-series ▲Werk Grey ▲Werk Stone Grey ▲Werk Dark Grey embody the serene beauty of limestone shaped by nature, while ▲Patagonia Cream is a creamy sandstone pattern inspired by the white ice fields of Patagonia. In addition, the fabric-series ▲Terra Ivory and Terra Grey, and the wood-series ▲Arden Oak ▲Marcel Walnut, offer a variety of design patterns that help create more colorful and premium furniture.
