Hansol Homedeco, a comprehensive interior materials company, has launched ‘PF Board,’ a building insulation product.

Hansol Homedeco's new insulation product, ‘PF Board,’ is a top-tier building insulation material that dramatically prevents heat loss through building walls and roofs. It is a high-performance product that maximizes energy efficiency by foaming thermosetting plastic resin in an eco-friendly manner. In addition, Hansol Homedeco's ‘PF Board’ is not easily flammable and produces no toxic gas in the event of a fire, making it safe. In recognition of this, it has obtained semi-non-combustible certification from KTR (Korea Testing & Research Institute). In particular, the foaming gas used for foaming during production is an eco-friendly gas rather than the CFC (Freon) gas regulated under the 1987 Montreal Protocol, which is another advantage as it reduces carbon dioxide emissions during manufacturing.

Furthermore, despite its thin profile, Hansol Homedeco's new insulation product ‘PF Board’ offers insulation performance more than 20% higher than polyurethane and nearly twice as high as styrofoam. Moreover, with its outstanding fire safety and space efficiency, it is a product that can effectively respond to government policies such as eco-friendly housing construction standards that are assessed by the insulation performance of walls, and the Building Energy Efficiency Rating System, which measures the total energy consumption of a building and provides incentives accordingly.

A Hansol Homedeco official stated, “In the current domestic building insulation market, styrofoam, extruded styrofoam, glass wool, and polyurethane are mainly used,” adding, “The PF Board launched this time not only delivers top-tier insulation performance with its thin profile, but also offers both fire safety and space efficiency, so it will be able to create distinctive value in the insulation market.” 02-3284-3864
