Hyundai L&C has launched 'Bodaq Wall,' a new-concept interior board (wall board).
'Bodaq Wall' is a new type of wall board consisting of a 6㎜-thick board (magnesium or calcium carbonate) wrapped in eco-friendly PET film, and it offers a wide range of design patterns—30 varieties across a total of 5 categories, including marble, stone categories such as Jeju Stone, and wood.
The product is installed using a dry construction method with a dedicated adhesive and molding, so there is no need to cut and attach wall finishing materials (wood, tile, etc.) or to apply additional finishing materials such as wallpaper and molding, saving installation time compared to conventional wall finishing work. Its simple installation method also has the advantage of reducing the burden of subsequent maintenance. In particular, 'Bodaq Wall' has been certified for semi-non-combustible performance by the Korea Fire Institute (KFI), and it is a product that aligns with eco-friendly trends, having passed various quality verifications—including eco-friendliness (building material), radioactivity concentration below the standard threshold, and non-detection of hazardous substances—from major domestic testing institutions such as the Korea Environmental Industry & Technology Institute and the Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute.
A Hyundai L&C official said, "Bodaq Wall enables high-quality wall board installation simply through assembly and attachment. Products using calcium carbonate board have excellent waterproofing, so they can be used in humid spaces such as bathrooms."
Also drawing attention is the film technology applied to 'Bodaq Wall.' Hyundai L&C is Korea's No. 1 interior film company, holding a variety of core film technologies. This new product utilizes eco-friendly PET film technology as well as various design pattern techniques developed for interior films, including the existing Bodaq Tile.
