IKEA Korea
Some 200 products, through January 4
Home furnishing retailer IKEA Korea is holding a ‘Winter Sale’ offering up to 70% off a wide range of home furnishing products through January 4, 2022, at all IKEA stores (Gwangmyeong, Goyang, Giheung and Dongbusan), its Planning Studios and its official online mall.
This Winter Sale was planned to help customers turn their homes into warm and cozy spaces as cold weather has arrived earlier than usual. Ahead of the coming Christmas and year-end holidays, IKEA is offering some 200 products—including tables, textiles and kitchenware to make the home where you spend time with loved ones even more special—at up to 70% off to members of ‘IKEA Family,’ IKEA’s loyalty program.
Key products featured in the event include: △the LISTERBY side table, perfect for storing small items such as a remote control; △the HAVSTA nesting tables, offering a natural solid-wood look and excellent use of space; △the ODDRUN blanket, made of 100% natural cotton and ideal for relaxing on the sofa or as an interior accent; △the FJÄLLBRÄCKA comforter, filled with soft down and feathers in a smooth cotton cover to wrap you in warmth; and △the OUMBÄRLIG cookware set, which can be used on both induction and gas stoves.
Nicolas Johnsson, Commercial Manager at IKEA Korea, said, “We prepared this discount event to give back for the enthusiastic interest and love that customers have shown IKEA Korea throughout the year,” adding, “We hope that more people will create a warmer, happier winter atmosphere with IKEA’s home furnishing products and enjoyably wrap up the year together with loved ones such as family and friends.”
Meanwhile, IKEA Korea officially entered the domestic market in 2014 with the opening of IKEA Gwangmyeong, and currently operates four offline stores—including IKEA Goyang, Giheung and Dongbusan—as well as e-commerce. To realize IKEA’s vision of ‘creating a better everyday life for the many people,’ the company is helping more people in Korea love their homes even more through home furnishing, and is making various efforts to become an IKEA that offers lower prices and greater convenience while being friendly to people and the planet. In particular, before opening a store, IKEA conducts surveys and research to understand the living environments of local residents, based on its curiosity about how people live at home in the area. In addition, as a people-centered company, it continuously strives to provide a good working environment for its employees and to have a positive impact on the community as a good neighbor.
