KyungDong Navien has won the Grand Prize in the residential boiler category at the '2018 Korea Brand of the Year Awards' hosted by the Korea Consumer Forum. With this achievement, KyungDong Navien became the first in the industry to earn the honor of receiving the 'Masterpiece Award,' which is granted only to brands that have been selected for the Grand Prize for more than 10 years.
Now in its 16th year, the 'Brand of the Year Awards' is a brand-related awards ceremony of the highest prestige, recognizing brands that lead Korea's consumer trends and enjoy the interest and affection of consumers.
KyungDong Navien claimed the Grand Prize in the residential boiler category for the 10th time this year, once again confirming its standing as the 'national representative boiler.' This recognizes the company's leadership in the boiler market, having led the way in continuous distribution over the past 30 years since it introduced the 'condensing boiler'—an eco-friendly, high-efficiency boiler—for the first time in Asia in 1988.
In particular, the 'Navien Smart Remote Control Boiler NCB760,' which was selected for this award, is greatly loved by consumers, adding even more sophisticated control and refined sensibility to the inherent advantages of a condensing boiler: outstanding energy savings and eco-friendliness.
Kim Si-hwan, Head of the Marketing Division, said, "Being selected for the Brand of the Year Grand Prize for the 10th time and earning the honor of becoming the first in the industry to receive the Masterpiece Award is all thanks to the unwavering trust and affection of our customers." He added, "We will continue to present the best products and services so that we can provide consumers with an even more comfortable and healthy living environment."
