Support for Low-Income Households in Seoul
Donation Ceremony Held on the 1st
Kiturami Co., Ltd. (CEO Choi Jae-beom) announced that it will donate eco-friendly boilers to the City of Seoul to support the installation of eco-friendly boilers in low-income households within the local community.
On April 1, Kiturami held a donation ceremony with the City of Seoul at the main building of Seoul City Hall, pledging to donate 25 eco-friendly boilers to support low-income households.
The eco-friendly boilers donated by Kiturami will be used to support low-income households that fall into the blind spots of the ‘Eco-Friendly Boiler Supply Program’ currently run by the Ministry of Environment and thus have not received subsidy benefits.
Kiturami plans to appropriately provide both condensing boilers certified as eco-friendly by the Ministry of Environment and Class 2 certified gas boilers, so that products suitable for the boiler installation environment of each selected low-income household can be supplied.
This is because eco-friendly condensing boilers cannot be installed if the installation site does not meet the required conditions, such as the absence of a condensate drain.
Meanwhile, the donation ceremony that day was attended by Lee In-geun, Director-General for Environmental Energy Planning of the City of Seoul; Jeon Myeong-su, Secretary-General of the Seoul Council on Social Welfare; and Kim Byeong-gwan, Head of the Distribution Division of Kiturami Boiler, among others.
Kim Byeong-gwan, Head of the Distribution Division of Kiturami Boiler, said, “We decided to take part in the eco-friendly boiler donation to add strength to the efforts of the government and local governments to expand the supply of eco-friendly boilers,” adding, “We hope this will be of some help to low-income households that have been unable to receive support for various reasons, such as financial burdens or installation environment issues.”
