Named an Outstanding Company for the Fifth Consecutive Year

Kiturami Co., Ltd. has been named an outstanding company in the heating appliance category for the fifth consecutive year in the ‘2025 Korea Consumer Protection Index (KCPI)’ released by the Korea Management Association Consulting.

Kiturami, which leads the heating mat market with its third-generation carbon mat, once again earned consistently high scores across the KCPI’s detailed survey items this year, making it the only company surveyed in the heating appliance category to be awarded the outstanding grade for five consecutive years.

Kiturami’s third-generation carbon mat operates by converting the 220V voltage used in ordinary households into a low voltage (DC 24V at the mat), and it has obtained electromagnetic field environment (EMF) certification, making it safe from harmful electromagnetic waves. Designed to run on 160W of low power—half that of a water-heated mat (300W)—it can be used economically at a monthly electricity cost of around 7,000 won even when used for eight hours a day throughout the entire month.

Kiturami sells its third-generation carbon mat through ‘Kiturami Mall,’ its head office-operated online shopping mall, strengthening shopping convenience and after-sales service for consumers. At Kiturami Mall, a dedicated ‘Carbon Mat Ondol Special Exhibition’ category has been set up, allowing consumers to view at a glance all the information they need, including △the third-generation carbon mat’s lineup of popular products △purchase benefits △product care services △product recommendations by lifestyle △reviews from actual users.

A Kiturami Boiler official said, “As a pioneer of the third-generation carbon mat market, Kiturami has continued its efforts to improve product quality and service in order to resolve the various inconveniences and concerns of consumers,” adding, “With the third-generation carbon mat born from Kiturami’s 60 years of heating technology, we will take responsibility for consumers’ comfortable and restful sleep throughout the winter season.”
