Wellness Robot

Proves Global Security Competitiveness

SK Intelix's (CEO Kim Wan-sung) wellness robotics brand 'NAMUHX' has obtained Internet of Things (IoT) security certification from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).

KISA IoT security certification is a nationally accredited system that verifies the security of various Internet of Things (IoT) products—such as robot vacuum cleaners and wall pads—so they can be used safely.

This achievement is especially significant given that KISA has recently tightened its evaluation standards considerably. By meeting security requirements that span the entire product lifecycle—going beyond pre-launch security verification to include a vulnerability response framework and verification processes that account for the post-deployment operational phase—NAMUHX has officially proven itself to be a product with sustainable security capabilities from design through after-sales management.

In addition, this certification confirmed reliability across major security domains including device security, data protection, encryption and communication security, and software updates. It also marks the notable accomplishment of demonstrating alignment with the global security recommendation standards set forth by major countries such as those in Europe and the United States.

NAMUHX, a wellness robot equipped with Air Solution, Vital Sign Check, voice control, and everyday conversation features, was designed with an on-device security architecture from the development stage. Sensitive personal information such as the user's voice, face, and biometric data is not stored on external servers; it is processed only within the device in an encrypted state. This allows users to operate the device at any time regardless of their network environment, while sensitive information is securely protected within the device.

In addition to this on-device security structure, NAMUHX analyzed more than 10 domestic and international security requirements—including ETSI EN 303 645 (European standard) and NIST (U.S. standard)—and reflected them from the design stage. As a result, it obtained ISO 27001, the international information security management system certification, and with the addition of this KISA IoT security certification, it has been officially verified as having established a comprehensive, all-around security system spanning hardware, software, and networks, thereby securing world-class technological security competitiveness.
