Samsung's 'My House' Wins Popularity

'My House,' a service launched on January 5 by Samsung Electronics in partnership with ZEPETO, Asia's largest metaverse platform, is enjoying great popularity, particularly among the MZ generation.

My House is a global service that lets users create 'my own home décor' in a virtual world using Samsung Electronics' various products and interior items such as furniture, lighting, and fabrics.

Samsung Electronics launched the service so that the MZ generation can naturally experience the brand value of Samsung in their daily lives and enjoy their own lifestyles through a wide range of products and services.

My House was unveiled on the opening day of 'CES 2022,' held in Las Vegas, USA, earlier this year, and drew favorable reviews from the many visitors to the Samsung exhibition hall.

In addition, on January 28, it set a record by surpassing 4 million cumulative visits. Samsung Electronics' My House is the only ZEPETO partner-brand service to have reached this figure in less than a month after launch.

The service's success is attributed to several factors that continuously drew users' interest and engagement: it was the first among ZEPETO partner-brand services to offer a user-customized experience; it allowed users to naturally experience Samsung Electronics' products and brand value in the process of decorating a home to their own taste; and it featured events that provided limited-edition items upon completing tasks.

Going forward, Samsung Electronics plans to use My House to convey in an entertaining way not only new products but also connected experiences across Samsung's various products, and to strengthen communication with MZ-generation customers by expanding collaborations with other industries such as fashion and furniture.
