‘Full-Scale Care Business’

Leaping Forward as a Total Home Care Brand

Bathroom company Daelim Bath is expanding its home care services through its subsidiary brand Daelim Care, taking a full-scale step forward as a total home care brand.

Daelim Care is a brand that offers home care services such as bathroom care that incorporate Daelim Bath's proprietary technology, as well as rental services for household appliances including bidets and water purifiers.

As awareness of personal hygiene has risen sharply in the wake of COVID-19, the company plans to put greater focus on its care business and reinvent itself as a total home care brand that keeps customers' entire living environment more comfortable and better managed. To this end, it is first launching a new sofa care service, rounding out its existing care offerings to establish three core home care services.

The newly introduced Smart Sofa Care is a fabric sofa cleaning service for customers concerned about the various waste and bacteria found in their sofas. Using professional equipment certified by the atopy association, it delivers meticulous care through a 10-step system. With a powerful rotating brush and strong suction, it captures fine dust and other particles from the sofa and effectively draws out stubborn grime, completely removing a wide range of everyday soiling.

In addition, Daelim Care offers Smart Bathroom Care, which cleans and sterilizes the entire bathroom using its existing product lineup, as well as a grout care service that provides hygienic management of soiled bathroom grout lines. It also provides bidet care and water purifier care services.

Meanwhile, to deliver the best possible service to customers, Daelim Care services are provided through in-person visits by ‘Service Doctors’ who have mastered specialized techniques. In keeping with recent consumer trends in which subscriptions have become part of everyday life, the services are also available as regular subscription plans.

Jung Chang-rim, director of the Daelim Care division at Daelim B&Co, said, “As consumers show growing interest in personal hygiene and health, we plan to strengthen our care business by expanding into areas that have been difficult to manage on one's own, including bathrooms and sofas,” adding, “Based on the hygiene science and technology we have built up over the past 58 years, we plan to dramatically expand our activities as a total home care brand that takes customers' lifestyles into account, so we ask for your continued interest.”
