A Patent Filing That Solidifies Its Leading Position in the Wall-Hung Toilet Market
Daelim Bath, Korea’s No. 1 bathroom company, announced that it has filed a patent for ‘FULEN Air,’ Korea’s first tankless wall-hung integrated bidet toilet with automatic flushing.
FULEN Air is a premium wall-hung integrated bidet toilet with automatic flushing that Daelim Bath unveiled in August 2024, a product that advances core performance areas such as design, flushing power, and water-saving efficiency. With a compact 600 mm exterior and a front finished in soft curves, it is easy to install even in cramped bathrooms. Furthermore, its wall-mounted, open lower structure makes floor cleaning easy. Through this patent filing, Daelim Bath plans to solidify its leading position in the rapidly growing wall-hung toilet market. Recently, the wall-hung product category has been expanding from the high-end segment into the mainstream market, driven by the spread of premium bathroom trends, growing demand for ease of maintenance, optimization for the compact bathroom layouts of urban housing, and advances in in-floor (concealed) plumbing technology.
The FULEN Air filed by Daelim Bath consolidates the following features: ▲a fully open rimless structure that eliminates cleaning blind spots; ▲a ‘rim + jet’ four-stage, two-cycle flushing system that delivers stable cleaning power even in low-water-pressure environments; ▲an integrated bidet-and-toilet design; ▲an automatic flushing function utilizing a seating-detection sensor; and ▲a water-saving structure that reduces the flush volume to 4.0 L or less. As these technologies are applied to a single product, hygiene and convenience functions are organically integrated, realizing a smart sanitary ware that balances cleanliness, water-saving performance, and usability.
In addition, by adopting a direct-water-pressure structure, it greatly improves construction and maintenance efficiency. Because no wall-embedded water tank is required, it can be installed with a dedicated frame alone, and the in-floor construction method—embedding the plumbing within the wall—reduces noise and maximizes drainage and flushing performance. The direct-water supply method reduces flow loss, fundamentally resolving the flushing-performance degradation issues that appeared in conventional wall-drainage product lines.

Previously, Daelim Bath registered a manufacturing patent that improved the drying and firing processes in order to reduce the deformation and breakage that can occur during the production of wall-hung toilets. This serves as a key technology that enhances product durability and improves production stability by minimizing quality variation in mass production.
