Ranked No. 1 in the bathroom interior brand category for the fifth consecutive year
‘Daelim Dium’ simultaneous online and offline service raises customer satisfaction
Daelim Bath (CEO Kang Tae-sik), Korea’s No. 1 bathroom company, announced that it has won the Grand Prize in the bathroom interior category at the ‘2020 Korea Brand of the Year Grand Prize’ for the fifth consecutive year.
Now in its 18th year, the ‘2020 Korea Brand of the Year Grand Prize’ is an awards program hosted by the Korea Consumer Brand Committee and organized by the Korea Consumer Forum, selecting the representative brand of the year in each category.
For the ‘2020 Korea Brand of the Year Grand Prize,’ Daelim Bath was ultimately selected as the No. 1 brand in the 2020 bathroom interior category, following about 14 days of consumer voting—from July 27 to August 9—involving approximately 550,000 people and more than 4.42 million votes, as well as a review process by the judging committee.
Selected as No. 1 for the fifth consecutive year, following last year’s win, Daelim Bath won strong support from consumers as a total home interior brand that considers not only excellent quality and eco-friendly technology mindful of nature, but also users’ lifestyles. In particular, since the Korea Brand of the Year Grand Prize is an award in which consumers themselves select the brands and products that deliver the highest value, service, and satisfaction over the course of a year, Daelim Bath’s five consecutive wins demonstrate the company’s formidable strength.
Daelim Bath, No. 1 in Korea’s bathroom market, is expanding its business into the home interior market by drawing on all the capabilities and know-how it has built up to date. Through its total home interior brand ‘Daelim Dium,’ the company is broadening its scope into kitchens, doors, flooring, windows and doors, and more, while raising customer satisfaction by providing simultaneous online and offline services.
On the offline side, ‘Daelim Dium,’ the directly operated Nonhyeon showroom, has been expanded and reorganized into a ‘one-stop total home interior shopping mall,’ where customers can obtain a variety of information on total interior remodeling and shop for home furnishing products all in one place. The official online shopping mall ‘Dium Mall’ is focusing on strengthening its online services, including introducing a ‘VR Housewarming’ service in consideration of customers who find in-person visits difficult amid the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The total home interior brand Daelim Dium has broadened customers’ range of choices by offering more than 30 types of home interior packages, including its flagship bathroom interior package ‘Phantom Square,’ and is presenting a diverse lineup that can be styled to suit each individual’s lifestyle, including sliding doors, flooring, and built-in closets. In particular, this year the company is unveiling a new kitchen collection along with new products such as flap cabinets that provide smart storage solutions, sliding doors, and partitions.
A Daelim Bath official said, “We were able to enjoy the honor of winning the Korea Brand of the Year Grand Prize for the fifth consecutive year on the strength of Daelim Bath’s unrivaled brand value and its design and technological capabilities that consider users’ lifestyles,” adding, “As the No. 1 brand in the bathroom industry, we will not only develop high-quality products but also further strengthen our simultaneous online and offline services to secure a leading position as a total home interior brand going forward.”
