The ‘Bathroom of the Year,’ chosen directly by consumers — from bathroom interior design to installation and after-sales service
Daelim Bath (CEO Kang Tae-sik), Korea's No.1 bathroom company, defended its top ranking in the bathroom interior category for the sixth consecutive year at the ‘2021 Korea Brand of the Year Awards,’ hosted by the Korea Consumer Brand Committee and organized by the Korea Consumer Forum.
Now in its 19th year, the Brand of the Year Awards select, through consumer voting, the brands that earned the most love from the public over the past year for their unwavering value. This year, the top brand in each category was selected through the largest consumer vote in the awards' history — more than 8.09 million votes gathered from about 610,000 people over two weeks, from June 21 to July 4, via online, mobile, and one-on-one telephone surveys — along with a review process by the deliberation committee.
Following last year, Daelim Bath earned the highest score in the bathroom interior category for the sixth consecutive year, being named the ‘Bathroom of the Year’ and crowned the top bathroom brand. This holds great significance, as the awards select each year's representative brand for each industry through direct consumer voting.
Daelim Bath's award reflects its leadership of the bathroom industry through product excellence that combines user-centered technology with customized designs that incorporate lifestyle. In particular, the bathroom remodeling package product ‘Libre Ash,’ backed by a long 56-year history, addressed consumers' concerns about cramped bathrooms through storage solutions. Equipped with functionality tailored to a variety of storage modules as well as spatial design, the product satisfied consumers' needs, providing a new bathroom culture experience and earning recognition of its value as a leading bathroom interior brand.
In addition, reflecting consumers' recent interest in hygiene, the company continues its efforts to develop smart products that offer convenience on top of the basics of hygiene. It has unveiled products that combine hygiene with cutting-edge technology, including the ‘Smart Washbasin (CL-1500),’ an integrated digital faucet through which eco-friendly sterilizing water flows; the touchless ‘Sensor Faucet (DL-L8410),’ which allows water use without touching the faucet lever; and the ‘Premium Integrated Bidet (Smartlet 8000),’ which enables bidet cleansing and flushing with a simple swing of the arm while seated.
Furthermore, as demand for home interiors has grown amid COVID-19, Daelim Bath is enhancing customer shopping satisfaction with a variety of benefits and services through its online official mall ‘Daelim Dium Mall,’ making it easy to purchase interior products via mobile.
In addition, Daelim Bath operates about 190 dealerships nationwide along with its Nonhyeon showroom, where customers can experience products firsthand and receive consultations. Through its ‘Daelim Dium Dealership,’ a specialized home interior store, the company displays a variety of bathroom packages and assists with product consultation and hands-on experience. Moreover, it continues to strive to strengthen customer service quality by, among other things, guaranteeing three years of free after-sales service to customers who purchase a total home interior package with direct installation by the head office.
