Amid a growing number of consumers who prefer country homes and an increasing number of people who wish to tend their own landscaping or gardens, the ‘2019 Korea Landscape & Garden Expo (Landscape & Garden Expo 2019),’ where visitors can survey the latest trends across the landscaping industry and where practical business is conducted, will be held for four days from May 23 to 26 at COEX in Samseong-dong.

This Korea Landscape & Garden Expo is co-hosted by the Korean Institute of Landscape Architecture, the Korea Park Facilities Business Cooperative, the Playground Facilities and Landscaping Materials Association, and Reed Expo. As an exhibition with professional expertise, it is designed as a festive venue for landscaping professionals through the provision of diverse and high-quality content. In particular, this exhibition is expected to be even richer thanks to the organic cooperation of landscaping-related associations and organizations centered on the Korean Institute of Landscape Architecture.

The 2019 Korea Landscape & Garden Expo had its professionalism verified through its designation as a ‘Certified Exhibition’ by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy up until 2017, and it plans to provide the finest landscaping industry marketing place with a renewed image, built on the high trust and expectations of exhibiting companies and visitors.

The Landscape Expo, held to advance the landscaping-related industry and expand the foundation for green growth, will showcase new technologies for protecting and restoring the environment—such as river ecosystem restoration, slope greening, and detention basin restoration—as well as various convenience facilities that renew the urban landscape, including indoor and outdoor landscaping materials, public facility streetscape improvements, park facilities, rest facilities, golf course design and construction, landscape lighting, and artificial turf.

The main exhibited items comprehensively cover a strengthened landscaping and garden category, along with functional facilities that create green spaces, children's play facilities, school facilities, streetlights using renewable energy, and new products and technologies for environmental conservation and restoration. A leisure park section (caravans, artificial rock walls, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, murals, photo zones, etc.) adds an abundance of attractions.

Through beautiful landscaping and gardens, this exhibition will present a life of harmony and balance in which nature and humankind live together.
