Time-Slot Selection When Purchasing Through Samsung.com
Starting on the 19th, Samsung Electronics will launch a 'Time-Slot Installation Service' that allows consumers to designate the delivery time slot for large home appliances themselves.
The 'Time-Slot Installation Service' is available for a fee ranging from a minimum of 20,000 won to a maximum of 50,000 won, depending on the item, quantity and schedule, when purchasing installation-required appliances such as TVs, refrigerators, washing machines, dryers and air purifiers through Samsung.com.
Customers can designate a delivery time slot in two-hour increments between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., and can select their preferred delivery date and time slot within up to seven days from the date of purchase.
By using this service, customers can check in advance when they will receive their product, allowing them to adjust their personal schedule on the delivery day. There is no need to wait on the delivery day without knowing what time the product will arrive, and when receiving a product to coincide with a moving day, customers can set the delivery so that the product arrives during the time they are organizing after their belongings have been moved in.
Samsung Electronics stated that it has established a system capable of providing time-slot delivery to enhance customer convenience, adding that, by advancing one step beyond the preferred-delivery-date service to a customized delivery that also allows the time slot to be set, customers will be able to experience even more differentiated delivery and installation services.
