Workation Campaign in Yangyang
Support for Work, Rest, and Lodging
Furniture brand DESKER is running its workation campaign ‘WORK ON THE BEACH’ in Yangyang, Gangwon Province, through November 26. A workation—a work style that combines work (Work) and vacation (Vacation)—has recently been adopted by many companies.
The DESKER Work on the Beach campaign provides a variety of workation spaces for DESKER B2B corporate members and DESKER membership members. The Workation Center, a space for work and meetings, is equipped with DESKER motion desks, a meeting space that can accommodate up to 10 people, and a range of office equipment and supplies, allowing for focused, productive work. The ‘Workation Terrace,’ located near Jukdo Beach, is an open space with ocean views where visitors can work in a relaxed setting.
Up to six people per company can apply and participate, and they can use the DESKER workation spaces for one week (seven days and six nights). In addition to companies, DESKER is holding a workation program event, available only in August, so that individual customers can also experience a workation.
To help workation workers enjoy their leisure time after work and on weekends, DESKER offers DESKER membership members benefits such as discounts on surfboard rentals and lessons, as well as café discounts. Furthermore, following last year, DESKER is once again running season 2 of ‘I AM SURFER,’ which supports surfing lessons, a hand-drip one-day class, and a lodging package.
An outdoor workation-themed exhibition zone has also been set up so that visitors to Jukdo Beach can experience a workation. In addition, DESKER-branded parasols will be placed at Jukdo Beach and nearby shops, and, in partnership with a surfing school, DESKER surfboards will be provided—offering visitors both convenience and a positive experience of the DESKER brand.
