17 Costco stores nationwide
Products sold in 'one-packing' format
Furniture brand DESKER has officially opened in 17 Costco stores across the country.
DESKER sells its products in a 'one-packing' format, placing all DIY components into a single box so that Costco members can easily pick up their products.
After confirming positive consumer response at a Costco roadshow event held in March, DESKER began its rollout with the Costco Yangjae store on September 13 and expanded to stores nationwide. It plans to open in future Costco stores as well, including the 'Costco Gocheok store' that opened in Guro-gu, Seoul, in mid-October.
Through this rollout, DESKER unveiled a 'Costco-exclusive computer desk' that customers can assemble themselves. The DESKER computer desk is an assembly-type desk with a simple design and versatile functionality, designed to enhance personal focus even in small spaces. It features a deep design that maintains an appropriate distance from the monitor, along with a cable-routing groove and a cable tray that allow wires to be organized easily and neatly.
A DESKER representative said, "We expect that opening in Costco stores nationwide will allow even more customers to experience DESKER," adding, "We hope customers can pick up a DESKER computer desk directly at Costco and experience the joy of decorating their own interior space by assembling it themselves."
Meanwhile, DESKER, which launched in 2016 as a furniture brand that grows together with people who are starting out, has introduced furniture that resembles its users and products that help them achieve high concentration and flexible thinking. By expanding a highly versatile product lineup tailored to users' purposes and lifestyles, it has earned recognition as a work-and-lifestyle furniture brand that creates better possibilities. DESKER is expanding its points of contact with customers by opening stores in various regions, including the Seoul metropolitan area nationwide.
