Global lighting company LEDVANCE announced that its 'BIOLUX Human Centric System' won the top award in the B2B lighting solutions category at the 'German Innovation Award 2020.'
Hosted annually by the German Design Council, the competition honors functional and innovative industrial products. It boasts worldwide prestige, with 695 companies from 29 countries taking part last year.
LEDVANCE's 'BIOLUX® Human Centric Lighting System' was highly praised for its contribution to industrial advancement in terms of originality, feasibility, and efficiency. The product is a human-centric lighting solution that, using LEDVANCE's own patented algorithm, adjusts the color of light indoors in step with changes in natural light.
Through Internet of Things (IoT) technology, it can be easily installed by connecting wirelessly to LEDVANCE downlights, panel luminaires, and other fixtures, and it offers outstanding security since it does not rely on the cloud. In addition, the included controller allows five modes of light color to be used over a 24-hour cycle. It is recommended not only for homes but also for offices, hospitals, and care facilities.
