DeWALT, the professional-grade premium power tool brand of Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO Hong Seong-wan), the world's largest tool company, is running a ‘Free Hammer Product Inspection and Cleaning Service’ at its official service centers nationwide through September 30 to prevent summer-related declines in tool performance and to enhance customer satisfaction.

This free inspection service has been arranged as a preventive measure to minimize the shortening of tool lifespan. Hammer products, primarily used for drilling and demolishing concrete, are prone to problems such as internal component wear and reduced impact force when foreign matter generated during work enters the interior. Regular inspection, internal cleaning, and grease replacement can keep product performance stable.

The inspection service covers all DeWALT corded and cordless hammer products. Eligible models include the cordless lineup — △DCH072 △DCH172 △DCH133 △DCH263 △DCH273 △DCH283 △DCH333 △DCH417 △DCH481 — and the corded lineup — △D25132 △D25133 △D25143 △D25333 △D25413 △D25811 △D25481.

Customers can visit DeWALT official service centers in five regions nationwide — Gyeonggi, Jungbu (Central), Daegu, Busan, and Gwangju — to receive the free inspection service. Those who find it difficult to visit in person can easily apply for Home Pick pickup through the customer center (1577-0933).

During product inspection, cleaning and grease replacement are provided free of charge. Costs may apply for parts replacement due to wear or damage, but special discounted prices are applied. In particular, at the Jungbu, Daegu, Busan, and Gwangju DeWALT official service centers, service costs can be paid with the Livelihood Recovery Consumption Coupon (Minsaeng Hoebok consumption coupon). When the coupon is used, an additional 5% discount is provided on service costs or parts purchases, and for items eligible for free inspection, the discounts can be combined for savings of up to 25%.

A DeWALT official said, “In the hot and humid conditions of summer, foreign matter can easily enter the interior of tools and cause performance to decline,” adding, “Through this free inspection service, we will help customers use their products safely and at peak performance.”
