Metaverse Company Tiraum
Completes TIPS Program Agreement
Tiraum (CEO Cho Won-jin), a living and lifestyle metaverse company, has completed an agreement for TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startup), the technology startup support program run by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, on the recommendation of TIPS operator Douzone Holdings.
Tiraum's core businesses are the digital transformation of the interior space industry and XR simulation, and it operates the online VR design furniture edit shop ‘Kkubo.’
In particular, the company converts detailed, lifelike elements such as interior finishing materials, furniture, decorations, and spaces into 2D/3D digital data, providing highly realistic digital visualization services.
With this TIPS selection and Douzone Holdings' investment, Tiraum plans to strengthen its existing digital visualization services and expand its enterprise services into the interior industry. It plans to enhance its existing simulations with customer clustering and machine learning to raise brand awareness and expand its sales channels. Building on this, the company intends to unveil a metaverse service that connects the virtual space of living and lifestyle with reality.
Kim Su-jin, a director at Tiraum, said, “Going forward, the outlook for the interior space industry is expected to shift toward a realistic metaverse, and we believe various business opportunities beyond interiors will be created. And interactive content that can be used quickly and easily will dominate that market.”
Meanwhile, Tiraum was incorporated in 2019 and has attracted seed investment from Kimgisa Lab and Douzone Holdings. It produces photorealistic finishing materials, furniture, and 2D/3D digital data of spaces, and offers virtual space content and services called ‘Kkubo,’ meaning “let's decorate,” for the interior space industry.
