Hankuk Glass launched its laminated glass producer network last year
On-site evaluations and customized technical support for each member company to be provided
Hankuk Glass launched ‘LAMILITE PARTNER,’ a laminated glass producer network, this past November, and plans to hold a joining ceremony in April.
As safety accidents have occurred frequently in recent years, public expectations regarding building safety are rising, and the government has repeatedly emphasized the importance of safety. Given that performance for energy savings has been highly valued in the architectural glass industry, Hankuk Glass plans to launch and promote the laminated glass network in order to raise awareness of the importance of safety and to prioritize the adoption of safety glass.
Hankuk Glass launched and has operated the nation’s first producer network since 2002. Its insulating glass network ‘DUOLITE CLUB’ and tempered glass network ‘SECULITE PARTNER’ select only companies whose technical capabilities and quality have been certified through rigorous screening among domestic processing firms, and have carried out know-how sharing and quality management.
The newly launched LAMILITE PARTNER will likewise improve the quality stability of its member companies through a quality management system, just as with the existing networks. The plan is to conduct on-site evaluations by process to provide customized technical support for each member company, and to hold regular workshops that offer opportunities to benchmark the practices of outstanding member companies and to pursue mutual growth.
The 2023 member companies joining LAMILITE PARTNER include Kookyoung G&M Co., Ltd., Daecheong, Samyang Glass Industry Co., Ltd., Yongjin Glass Industry Co., Ltd., Jeongam G&W Co., Ltd., Jeil Safety Glass Co., Ltd., TNK Co., Ltd., Hankuk Glass Industry Co., Ltd., Hannam Industry Co., Ltd., and Hantech Co., Ltd. LAMILITE PARTNER member companies receive, free of charge, annual supplies and a KOLAS test report for one type of laminated product.
