Targeting Seoul's Gangseo commercial district — the largest of its kind in western Seoul
Hyundai Livart has rolled up its sleeves to tackle the office furniture market. The company is unveiling a large-scale specialty office furniture store in the Gangseo commercial district, which has emerged as one of Seoul's up-and-coming office hubs.
Hyundai Livart, the total interior company affiliated with Hyundai Department Store Group, has opened the 'Livart Office Gangseo Showroom' in Hwagok-dong, Gangseo-gu, Seoul.
The Livart Office Gangseo Showroom spans a single above-ground floor with a net floor area of 890㎡ (about 270 pyeong), and displays and sells office furniture across a total of 42 collections (some 700 items) — including office desks, chairs, and partitions — from the premium office furniture brand 'Livart Office' and the home office & SOHO office furniture brand 'Livart Haum'.
The Gangseo area of Seoul, where the new showroom is located, is one of the city's up-and-coming office hubs, home to large corporations as well as offices and research facilities of all sizes centered around the Magok and Sangam districts.
Reflecting the latest office trends, the Gangseo Showroom is built around the concept of a 'creative office,' where visitors can experience a variety of interiors for different work settings — from three types of workstations (Casual/Formal/Haum) to shared spaces such as a lounge and meeting rooms.
Another distinctive feature is that, unlike existing office furniture stores that have been operated mainly on a B2B basis, visitors here can also try out B2C office furniture for home offices, studies, and the like. Reflecting the rapid adoption of the work-from-home culture, Hyundai Livart has also set up a separate 'Home Office Series' experience space at the Gangseo Showroom, themed around home offices, student studies, and study rooms.
In addition, at the Gangseo Showroom, Hyundai Livart offers a consulting service that proposes customized office interiors tailored to customers' needs — from staging large-scale office spaces to single-person home office work areas — and newly introduces a 'Creators' zone where customers can personally choose from a range of colors, materials, and finishes.
