Eugene Group's Ace Hardware Upgrades Its Membership Program
Plan to Substantially Expand Benefits for Loyal Customers
Ace Hardware, the home-repair specialty brand of Eugene Home Center, has revamped its 'Ace Rewards' rewards program.
The newly introduced 'Ace Rewards' is Ace Hardware's own loyalty rewards program, upgraded from the previous membership program, with enhanced tailored benefits such as paybacks and discount coupons based on purchase performance.
Through this revamp, Eugene Home Center's strategy is to substantially expand benefits for its loyal customer base. First, the tier-designation cycle has been changed from once a year to once a month, allowing customers to have upgrades applied and to receive tier-based benefits more quickly. In addition, MASTER, the top tier, receives a standing 10% point accrual (excluding certain products) and a monthly 10,000-won discount coupon. New members are also given an ACE shopping basket, as the company plans to expand exclusive promotions available only to Ace Rewards members and to provide even greater benefits to customers.
An official from Eugene Home Center said, "The newly introduced Ace Rewards was designed based on the brand's core value of providing customized services in line with the diverse needs of our customers," adding, "By offering tailored services that can satisfy the high-level demands of professional customers such as interior contractors, we will strengthen Ace Hardware's own membership program so that it can be reborn as a professional brand where pro meets pro."
Meanwhile, Ace Hardware is the world's largest home improvement brand, boasting a 100-year tradition, and can be found in some 6,000 stores across more than 70 countries worldwide. In Korea, Eugene Group has been operating offline stores in the Seoul metropolitan area—including Yongsan, Ilsan, and Toegyewon—as well as an online mall, starting with its Geumcheon store in Seoul in 2018.
