Concept store ‘STROL’ located in Gwanggyo
Showcases innovation and differentiated technology
Molekule, a premium air sterilization and purification brand, has created an experiential exhibition space at ‘STROL,’ a men’s lifestyle concept store located in Gwanggyo, running through April 15 to showcase Molekule’s distinctive innovation and differentiated technology.
Since expanding into markets including Korea, India, and Japan in 2020, this experiential space—Molekule’s first of its kind anywhere in the world—is operated under a concept that lets visitors directly experience the powerful suction of Molekule products and the ‘PECO technology (Photo Electrochemical Oxidation)’ that destroys pollutants.
When a visitor passes the sensor installed at the entrance of the exhibition space, a ‘fog machine’ is activated, and when a person enters the space, the sensor again detects the movement and the Molekule air sterilizer and purifier switches on to draw in the smoke—heightening the interaction between customers and the products.
Unlike conventional air purification technologies, Molekule’s patented PECO technology is an unprecedented, entirely new air purification solution that destroys a wide range of pollutants in the air—such as viruses, bacteria, mold, and allergens—at the molecular level. It works on the principle that free radicals, generated through the reaction between a filter coated with nano-particle catalyst material and UV-A (LED) light, destroy pollutants.
Explaining why it selected STROL as the partner for this collaboration, Molekule said it judged STROL—a space that proposes artworks and products in everyday life without boundaries and where people can naturally experience the brand—to be an ideal setting to experience Molekule’s innovation and differentiated technology. The company added that it has high expectations for the synergy created by the meeting of Molekule, whose brand philosophy is to ‘provide clean indoor air to everyone, everywhere,’ and STROL, which emphasizes ‘seeing and experiencing firsthand.’
During the exhibition space’s run, STROL will feature Molekule’s high-performance, high-end air sterilizer and purifier ‘Air-Pro,’ as well as the ‘Air mini’ and ‘Air mini+,’ which are focused on personal spaces.
