KCC Glass Flooring

Top Scores Across Evaluation Categories

'Soop,' the flooring brand of glass and interior specialist KCC Glass (Chairman Chung Mong-ik), was named No. 1 in the residential flooring category for the sixth consecutive year in the '2021 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI)' survey conducted by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC).

The 'Korea Brand Power Index' is a system that quantifies and evaluates the competitiveness of brands across major domestic industries through consumer surveys. Now in its 23rd year, it is one of Korea's leading brand evaluation indices. Through this survey, KCC Glass's Soop beat out numerous competing brands to claim the top spot in the residential flooring category for the sixth year running, once again proving itself the brand most recognized by consumers.

KCC Glass's Soop earned the highest ratings among competing brands in the top-of-mind awareness category, and in the brand loyalty survey it received the industry's highest scores across all three items—image, purchase likelihood, and preference. In particular, KCC Glass's award this time was credited to the significant expansion of its high-functionality flooring lineup aimed at enhancing customer safety and quality of life.

Last year, KCC Glass became the first in the industry to obtain 'Pet Product Safety Certification (PS Certification)' and launched 'Soop Dodam,' a flooring product safe not only for children but also for pets. This year, it released 'Soop Hyuga-on,' a premium flooring product that faithfully reproduces the feel of natural materials for a luxurious look while offering an excellent walking experience with its highly elastic cushion layer. By successively launching products tailored to the changing demands of customers who prioritize safety and the value of their spaces, KCC Glass is leading the flooring industry.
