Booth featuring plants, emphasizing comfort and rest as well as ‘sustainable materials’

Baekjo Sink, a specialized manufacturer of stainless steel sink bowls, took part in ‘2022 Korea Build,’ Korea’s largest construction exhibition, held at COEX in Seoul from July 28 to 31.

Baekjo Sink introduced a wide variety of kitchen-related products, from premium sink bowls to sink bowl accessories made from stainless steel. In particular, the company designed an exhibition booth featuring plants to offer comfort and rest to visitors weary of social distancing amid the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. By incorporating plants throughout its displayed products, the booth not only added enjoyment to the viewing experience but also highlighted stainless steel as a sustainable, eco-friendly material.

The product taking center stage at this exhibition was a medium-sized drain that reflects Korea’s food culture. It takes up less floor space than a large drain, while handling food waste more easily than a small drain, giving it high utility.

The company also presented ‘CalmForte (깜:뽀르테),’ a hybrid sink bowl of Korea’s finest quality. Equipped with a special triple pad, it features a Quiet function that minimizes the noise generated during dishwashing, along with double embossing that resists everyday scratches and a Goni Clearing coating—a product designed with both noise reduction and hygiene in mind.

In addition, the company set up a display zone for premium imported brands that are gaining popularity in Europe, including Germany’s Blanco, Italy’s Apell, and Elleci, allowing visitors to see and compare each brand’s products firsthand. Kitchenware from ‘Luena,’ a shopping mall specializing in stainless steel goods, was also on display. Visitors could encounter a variety of kitchen items, including Shine Cleaner, a sink cleaner launched this year, and a stainless steel dishcloth and cutting board holder.

A Baekjo Sink official said, “This was an opportunity for visitors to experience in one place a wide range of scientifically designed sink bowls—from Korea’s finest premium sink bowls to reform sink bowls for renowned overseas brand sinks—developed by understanding consumer needs.”
