LX Hausys to Develop Aluminum System Window & Door Technology and Products
Premium System Windows & Doors to Launch in Domestic Market in the Second Half
LX Hausys is joining hands with REYNAERS, a Belgian aluminum window and door manufacturer, to accelerate its push into Korea's high-end aluminum system window and door market.
In connection with this, LX Hausys announced that it held the ‘LX Hausys–REYNAERS Aluminum System Window & Door Strategic Partnership Signing Ceremony’ at LX Hausys’ headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, with LX Hausys President Han Myung-ho and REYNAERS Vice Chairman Andreas Wilsdorf, among others, in attendance.
Founded in 1965, Belgium’s REYNAERS is a leading European window and door company and a global Top 3 aluminum window and door manufacturer, operating aluminum system window & door and curtain wall businesses in partnership with more than 5,000 companies across some 40 countries worldwide.
LX Hausys explained that it entered into the strategic partnership with REYNAERS to accelerate its market push, as domestic demand for premium aluminum system windows and doors has continued to grow not only in luxury residential developments, resorts, and hotels but also in apartment reconstruction and remodeling complexes.
Through this partnership, LX Hausys and REYNAERS plan to cooperate comprehensively across the entire aluminum system window & door product development and launch process—from improving the technical performance and design of system windows and doors to processing and installation processes and quality verification.
Building on this, the two sides plan to unveil premium products tailored to the domestic market in the second half of this year, including ▲ultra-slim system windows and doors that minimize aluminum frame thickness, ▲high-insulation system windows and doors that overcome poor thermal insulation—the biggest weakness of conventional aluminum windows and doors—and ▲high-wind-pressure system windows and doors that are strong against wind and typhoons.
At the ceremony, LX Hausys President Han Myung-ho said, “We expect that the partnership between REYNAERS, which possesses the best technological capabilities in the aluminum system window & door field, and LX Hausys, Korea’s No. 1 window and door company, will not only create business synergy but also give great momentum to our market push.”
