The power tools division of Robert Bosch Korea Ltd. participated in the 2018 Korea Landscape & Garden Expo, held from May 31 to June 3.

Organized into four zones—lawn care, shrub care, outdoor cleaning, and accessories—the Bosch Home & Garden booth showcased a wide range of innovative new products and flagship products, capturing the attention of many visitors.

Among the Bosch Home & Garden exhibits, the products that drew the most attention were new products such as the Indego 400 robotic lawnmower, the EasyPrune cordless pruning shears, and the Glassvac window vacuum cleaner, along with a variety of Bosch Home & Garden flagship products including chainsaws, garden saws, hedge cutters, lawnmowers, brush cutters, and high-pressure washers. In particular, the three new products drew a great deal of interest and attention from visitors.

△The Indego 400 robotic lawnmower automatically calculates a mowing schedule and keeps the garden neat on a regular basis once a boundary wire is installed in the garden and the auto-calendar is set. It features the ‘LogiCut’ intelligent navigation system, which calculates the most efficient route, and multiple sensors that automatically detect and avoid surrounding obstacles. It is even equipped with a function that automatically returns to the docking station to recharge when its battery is depleted.

△EasyPrune is a cordless pruning shear that, with its power-assist function, allows users to easily cut branches without much effort, and its cutting strength can be adjusted across three levels depending on the working environment. It can be conveniently charged anytime, anywhere with a Bosch USB charger, and on a full charge it can make up to 450 cuts.

△Glassvac is a rechargeable household window vacuum cleaner that incorporates Bosch's wiper blade technology. It is suitable for cleaning windows and mirrors and can also easily clean up liquids spilled on the floor. Its wiper rubber technology, featuring a patented polymer coating, provides a smoother feel and leaves no streaks.

Park Jin-hong, head of the Bosch Power Tools division, said, “Domestic demand for garden tools is steadily increasing. Bosch Home & Garden products are one of the key product groups that make up Bosch Power Tools, and we continue to introduce innovative products that meet customer needs.” He added, “I am very pleased that this Landscape & Garden Expo has provided an opportunity for many people to see and experience Bosch's uniquely innovative Home & Garden products firsthand.”
