Ohou, Moving Beyond Furniture to Home Appliances
Partnership with LG Electronics, Next-Day Delivery
Ohou customers can now receive even large home appliances the day after purchase. Ohou, a lifestyle super app, has partnered with LG Electronics to launch its ‘Fast Appliance Delivery’ service, which delivers and installs popular LG Electronics appliances the next day for orders placed and paid for by 4 p.m. on weekdays.
With Ohou’s ‘Fast Appliance Delivery,’ professional installation technicians deliver and install products on the customer’s desired date. Customers can freely choose their preferred delivery date—including the very next day after ordering—anytime within four weeks from the order date, allowing them to receive their products on the schedule they want. The service also eases the burden of delivery costs, offering free delivery to all regions, including remote islands and mountainous areas.
To mark the launch of the Fast Appliance Delivery service, Ohou also ran an ‘LG Electronics Brand Week’ through March 27. In celebration of the spring wedding season, essential appliances for newlyweds—such as TVs, washing machines, cordless vacuum cleaners, and air purifiers—were offered at discounts of up to 14%. In particular, the ‘LG Objet Collection DIOS,’ a popular choice among newlyweds, was presented at a special discounted price. During the event, customers who purchased Fast Appliance Delivery products using a Shinhan Card received an additional 5% discount, up to a maximum of 30,000 won.
Jung Woon-young, head of Ohou’s Commerce Division, said, “Following furniture, we have launched the Fast Appliance Delivery service to provide a better customer experience with fast and accurate delivery of large home appliances as well,” adding, “Going forward, we will work to offer customers more Fast Appliance Delivery products and abundant benefits through active partnerships with a variety of brands.”
