A home platform brand offering a wide range of customized services for residents
Delivering digital smart home services, cultural life, and health care
Samsung C&T Engineering & Construction Group (hereinafter Samsung C&T) announced that, reflecting recent digital trends, it plans to unveil a home platform that applies even more advanced home IoT technology and provides a variety of residential services spanning home styling, residents' cultural and hobby activities, and community engagement.
The newly introduced residential platform brand 'Homeniq' combines Home, Technique, and Unique, signifying the experience of a distinctive life through cutting-edge technology and the completion of one's own special lifestyle.
Homeniq is organized into two categories—'Home Ground,' which upgrades living spaces by advancing smart home technology, and 'Life Inside,' which enriches residents' lives—and will offer a total of some 20 services.
First, it will introduce smart home technology that expands the concept beyond device-to-device connection and control to add convenience to residents' daily lives, with plans to extend connectivity not only to individual households but across the entire complex, including community facilities and the management office. In addition, by leveraging 'MATTER,' the international IoT communication standard, it will enable anyone to connect the home IoT devices of their choice.
Alongside this, the company said it will provide new experiences across all aspects of daily life—including home styling that incorporates metaverse technology to let residents freely style their living spaces and easily purchase products, as well as resident health care, pet care, and the appreciation and direct purchase of artworks in offline spaces within the apartment complex.
It also plans to provide online and offline spaces for communication among complex residents, creating a place of coexistence for exchanging useful information about the local living environment, and will offer premium benefits for Homeniq customers such as a residents-only shopping mall and a complex-exclusive card.
Samsung C&T is also actively expanding the platform ecosystem through robust partnerships. It is currently collaborating with 22 companies, including Samsung Electronics, and going forward it intends to enhance synergy by combining the technologies, ideas, and products of specialized firms through a cloud-based open API.
Homeniq's various services will be integrated and implemented in a single app, and specific services are scheduled to be unveiled at the end of August through an event in which customers will participate. The service will be fully applied starting with Raemian One Bailey, which is set for occupancy, and will be expanded to existing apartments as well as multi-family housing under various brands.
