Germany’s ‘ISH 2025’ Exhibition

Showcases HVAC Systems

Samsung Electronics has won an award in the ‘Water & Efficiency+’ category of the ‘Designplus Award’ at the HVAC trade fair ISH 2025, in recognition of its sustainable design and product innovation.

The ‘Designplus Award,’ organized by ISH, is given based on an evaluation of the technology, innovation, and sustainable design of products in the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) field. The award-winning products are two EHS indoor units: the ‘Slim Fit ClimateHub Mono,’ equipped with a dedicated 200L water tank, and the compact wall-mounted ‘Hydro Unit Mono.’ In particular, both products feature a 7-inch touchscreen for greater convenience, and their 600㎜-deep Slim Fit size gives them a design that blends well with built-in furniture in the home. In the case of the wall-mounted ‘Hydro Unit Mono,’ it can be freely installed in a variety of spaces such as kitchens and laundry rooms without the need for a separate space like a boiler room, making it convenient.

Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics took part in the ISH 2025 exhibition, held in Frankfurt, Germany, from March 17 to 21, where it unveiled HVAC systems made even more powerful with AI. At its exhibition space of approximately 489㎡ (about 150 pyeong), Samsung Electronics showcased a wide range of HVAC solutions, from residential to commercial. Choi Hang-seok, Vice President of Samsung Electronics’ DA Business Division, explained, “Based on our unrivaled Wind-Free technology, high-efficiency energy technology, and convenient connectivity, Samsung Electronics is expanding its influence in the global HVAC market.”
