Isao Takahata Exhibition
At Sejong Center for the Performing Arts until August 3
Samhwa Paint Ind. Co., Ltd. provided eco-friendly paint for the 'Isao Takahata Exhibition,' running until August 3 at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul.
As part of its ESG management, Samhwa Paint supports and sponsors a variety of exhibitions and expos to advance the culture and arts sector and to build a society where everyone can enjoy cultural life.
The exhibition supported this time features 'Isao Takahata,' co-founder of the Japanese animation studio Studio Ghibli. Isao Takahata is a giant of the Japanese animation world who directed such famous animated works as Heidi, Girl of the Alps and Anne of Green Gables.
Using colors such as white, blue, lavender, ivory, and brown, Samhwa Paint created an exhibition space that stirs deep emotion and rich imagination. In this space, visitors can catch a glimpse of the footsteps of Isao Takahata's work.
The paint applied to the exhibition is 'iLux Multi Eggshell.' This product features a soft, low sheen that enables an upscale interior atmosphere, and its excellent weather resistance makes stains easy to remove. It is an eco-friendly paint that has obtained environmental certifications such as the Eco-Label (Environmental Mark) certification.
A Samhwa Paint official said, "We created a space where the works of Studio Ghibli harmonize with Samhwa Paint's color expression," adding, "We hope visitors will enjoy the beauty of color offered by a color specialist company."
