Hanssem–Hanssem Service Recognized for Cultivating ‘Rehaus Designers’ and ‘Construction Pros’
Large–SME Win-Win Job Program Task Force Performance Report Meeting

Hanssem Co., Ltd. announced that, in recognition of its contribution to resolving labor shortages and youth unemployment, Oh Jeong-min, Part Leader of Hanssem’s RH Education & HR Division, and Kim Seong-jun, Team Leader of Hanssem Service’s Construction Planning Team, received commendations from the Minister of SMEs and Startups at the ‘Large–SME Win-Win Job Program Task Force Performance Report Meeting and Discussion,’ held at The Plaza Hotel in Jung-gu, Seoul, on December 11.
The Large–SME Win-Win Job Program, organized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, and the KEF SME Cooperation Center, is a project in which large and mid-sized companies train young job seekers using their in-house education infrastructure, and small and medium-sized partner companies hire those who complete the training. This performance report meeting and discussion was held to encourage the contributions of those who helped fill vacant positions and worked to achieve outstanding results in the program.
Hanssem’s Part Leader Oh Jeong-min received the commendation for supplying high-quality professional talent to Rehaus dealerships facing labor shortages and for contributing to easing youth unemployment by providing interior design expertise and employment support to young people struggling to find jobs.
To provide customers with professional home interior consulting services, Hanssem introduced the ‘Rehaus Designer (RD)’ job category and operates a systematic training program covering product knowledge, design software instruction, and consulting methods.
Hanssem Service’s Team Leader Kim Seong-jun received the commendation for cultivating ‘Construction Pros,’ home interior construction specialists, through the Hanssem Service Academy, thereby contributing to resolving the labor shortages of small and medium-sized partner companies and youth unemployment.
Hanssem Service is a subsidiary dedicated to the installation services for Hanssem products such as kitchens, baths, and home furnishings. Together with some 230 construction partner companies and about 2,800 Construction Pros nationwide, it delivers accountable installation. The Hanssem Service Academy is an institution that trains Construction Pros through professional education at 10 training centers across the country. Over a total of three weeks, it strengthens construction skills through step-by-step training, from understanding blueprints to hands-on assembly practice for various products such as kitchens, built-in wardrobes, and closets.
A Hanssem official said, “By cultivating experts in the home interior field, we are achieving not only the effect of creating jobs but also that of providing higher-quality services to our customers,” adding, “We will continue to advance our training programs so that we can cultivate even more home interior experts.”
Meanwhile, in recognition of its efforts toward shared growth with partner companies, Hanssem became the first furniture manufacturer to receive the highest grade for two consecutive years in the fair trade agreement implementation evaluation. To strengthen compliance, Hanssem is continuing various efforts for ethical management and shared growth with partner companies, including establishing a dedicated organization and announcing a newly revised ethics charter.
