Saturnbath (CEO Jeong In-hwan), a company specializing in bathroom furniture, has developed a bathroom cabinet incorporating universal design and has launched an active campaign to promote its adoption in multi-unit housing.
True to its name, the ‘Universal Bathroom Cabinet’ developed by Saturnbath features a new design that allows people of all ages, as well as those with disabilities and the elderly, to use it conveniently and safely. Unlike conventional rectangular bathroom cabinets, the product is designed with a beveled shape and an angled mirror, making it easy to use for short children and elderly people in wheelchairs. Even when installed in an ordinary home, everyone from children to adults can easily use the cabinet’s mirror.
In addition, the Universal Bathroom Cabinet has been upgraded not only for ease of use but also in terms of storage functionality. Compared to conventional cabinets, the product offers 22% more storage space and greater depth, eliminating any concern of towels getting caught or falling into the toilet when opening and closing the door. With the mirror positioned close by, it is also convenient for shaving or applying makeup. If needed, it can also serve as a shaving mirror replacement.
In terms of installation, the Universal Bathroom Cabinet is distinguished by its fall-prevention design, which allows for body-integrated mounting-rail installation to enhance safety.
Saturnbath CEO Jeong In-hwan explained, “The ‘Universal Bathroom Cabinet’ is a product that applies the best design and functionality so that all users can enjoy bathroom life conveniently and safely,” adding, “We can expect maximized effectiveness when it is applied to multi-unit housing as well as public restrooms and restrooms for people with disabilities.”
