KCC Glass Interior Stone Certified by the Korean Society of Interior Designers
'Senstone Ultra,' engineered stone 'Senstone Quartz,' and more
KCC Glass announced that 'Senstone,' the interior stone product line from its interior specialty brand 'Homecc Interior,' has received official recommended product certification from the Korean Society of Interior Designers (KOSID).
Established in 1979, the Korean Society of Interior Designers is a non-profit organization under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. To contribute to the advancement of Korea's interior architecture culture and to help consumers make informed product choices, the society grants official recommended product certification to high-quality interior products following a review by its member experts.
The 'Senstone' line that received official recommended product certification from the society this time comprises four products in total: △Senstone Ultra △Senstone Quartz △Senstone Marble △Senstone Plus.
'Senstone Ultra' is a premium ceramic tile that KCC Glass imports exclusively from 'Emil,' a subsidiary of 'Mohawk Group,' the world's No. 1 tile company. Measuring an extra-large 1.6 m wide by 3.2 m long, it is also known as a 'big slab,' and its outstanding durability allows it to be applied anywhere inside or outside a building, including art walls and exterior walls. It has also been certified as a 'food equipment material' by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) in the U.S., making it suitable for use as kitchen countertops.
'Senstone Quartz' is an engineered stone containing more than 90% high-quality natural quartz. It realistically reproduces the texture and color of natural stone while boasting high strength and durability. In particular, its low water absorption rate makes it highly resistant to food stains and bacterial growth, making it well suited for kitchen countertops and bathrooms where sanitary management is required.
In addition, 'Senstone Marble,' a marble-type reinforced natural stone that uses crushed stone to highlight the beautiful patterns unique to natural stone, and 'Senstone Plus,' an acrylic-based artificial marble that offers practicality and hygiene at a reasonable price, were also certified as official recommended products.
Meanwhile, KCC Glass Homecc Interior's eco-friendly flooring line 'Soop' and its high-insulation 'Homecc Window' products have also previously received official recommended product certification from the Korean Society of Interior Designers.
