EMONS

Home Furniture Category

EMONS has taken first place for the eighth consecutive year in the Home Furniture category of the 2025 Consumer Well-Being Environmental Satisfaction Index (KS-WEI), once again proving its standing as a well-being furniture brand. The certification ceremony was held on June 18 at the Lotte Hotel in Sogong-dong, Seoul, and was attended by Korean Standards Association Chairman Moon Dong-min and representatives of the award-winning companies.

The Consumer Well-Being Environmental Satisfaction Index (KS-WEI) is Korea's only well-being consumption satisfaction survey system, jointly developed by the Korean Standards Association and Yonsei University's Institute of Environmental Science and Technology. It evaluates the products and services that consumers frequently use across five criteria—healthiness, environmental friendliness, safety, fulfillment, and social responsibility—and selects the top brand in each category. EMONS achieved the feat of ranking first for eight consecutive years by earning consistently high scores across all evaluation criteria, including healthiness, environmental responsibility, and user safety. An EMONS representative shared the following upon receiving the award: "We believe that our well-being-centered brand strategy—which goes beyond merely attractive and functional furniture to enhance quality of life and consider the environment—has translated into consumer trust," adding, "Going forward, we plan to focus on leading the standards for well-being furniture through the development of healthy and safe materials, the expansion of eco-friendly certifications, and sustainable design." EMONS has had its design competitiveness recognized as the first company in the home furniture field to win the Prime Minister's Award at the Good Design Awards and to be selected as a Good Design (GD) product for 22 consecutive years. It has also achieved outstanding results in international competitions, competing in the WorldSkills Competition five times in a row and accumulating six gold medals, three silver medals, one bronze medal, and four merit awards, and has even been honored with the Presidential Award.

Building on this award, EMONS plans to further accelerate its efforts to realize consumer-centered values and lead the well-being furniture market.
