Samsung Electronics
Actively Participates in Expanded Program

Samsung Electronics is actively joining the government's 'Small Business High-Efficiency Appliance Replacement Support' program, which aims to ease the burden of energy costs on small business owners.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) announced that they are expanding the 'Small Business High-Efficiency Appliance Support Policy.' Under this program, small business owners who install high-efficiency appliances at their business sites receive support of up to 40% of the purchase price. This year, the range of eligible items has been expanded, and the program now covers not only the replacement of aging products but also new purchases. The eligible home appliances comprise four categories of Energy Efficiency Grade 1 products—air conditioners, washing machines, dryers, and refrigerators. Following last year, Samsung Electronics will actively promote this program and its Energy Efficiency Grade 1 products.
Samsung Electronics products eligible for this support program can be found at Samsung Store locations nationwide, Samsung.com, official online Samsung Electronics authorized dealers, and large retail outlets.
To apply for a rebate, after purchasing a product, applicants should attach the product's energy consumption efficiency grade label, manufacturing serial number plate, transaction statement, and receipt, and submit them through KEPCO's official website, which opens on March 25. Detailed information on the rebate policy is also available on Samsung.com.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics is offering 'high-efficiency energy-saving appliances' that consume even less power than Energy Efficiency Grade 1 products, enabling additional energy savings. Compared with the minimum standard for Energy Efficiency Grade 1, the 'BESPOKE Grande Washer AI' consumes up to 20% less power, the BESPOKE 4-Door Refrigerator up to 22% less, and the WindFree Air Conditioner Gallery 10% less. In addition, an AI Energy Mode is applied, saving energy and allowing power usage to be managed more efficiently through the AI Energy Mode.
