Stanley Black & Decker Korea (CEO Hong Seong-wan), the world's largest tool company, held a sponsorship agreement ceremony for the '2024 Building Homes of Hope' campaign with Habitat for Humanity Korea on January 25 at the DEWALT Customer Experience Center in Seocho-dong, Seoul.

The ceremony was attended by Hong Seong-wan, CEO of Stanley Black & Decker's Korean branch, along with Lee Kwang-hoe, Secretary General of Habitat for Humanity Korea, and other officials. The two organizations wrapped up the past year by looking back on their joint activities, including the 'Women's Home-Building Fundraising Bazaar' and the 'Mobile Home Building' construction volunteer program, and signed the sponsorship agreement for the '2024 Building Homes of Hope' campaign.

Through this agreement, Stanley Black & Decker plans to continue actively cooperating with Habitat for Humanity Korea's various construction volunteer activities, which aim to improve the poor living environments of housing-vulnerable neighbors in Korea and provide them with comfortable homes.

Stanley Black & Decker has consistently taken part in Habitat for Humanity Korea's various social contribution activities. In 2023 as well, the company not only joined Habitat for Humanity Korea's mobile home-building volunteer work together with its executives, employees, and customers, but also donated vacuums and power tools worth approximately 55 million won. In particular, by participating in various construction projects and housing improvement activities since 2010, the company has donated its own tools, vacuums, and charity bazaar proceeds totaling a cumulative 603 million won.

Hong Seong-wan, CEO of Stanley Black & Decker Korea, said, "Through our long-standing volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity Korea, we have come to deeply recognize and take an interest in the housing problems faced by neighbors living in housing blind spots." He added, "We will continue our relationship with Habitat for Humanity Korea, pay attention to various housing issues in Korea, and strive to grow into a global power tool company that fulfills its social responsibility by practicing coexistence with local communities and love for our neighbors."
