Exhibition Scale Greatly Expanded, 1,800 Companies Expected to Participate
Sharp Increase in Exhibitors of Outdoor Furniture and Garden Accessories

The world's largest international garden living trade fair, 'spoga+gafa 2024,' will be held from June 16 to 18 in Cologne, Germany.
spoga+gafa is a B2B trade fair covering a broad spectrum of product categories, including outdoor furniture, greenhouses, outdoor spas and jacuzzis, garden supplies, and DIY tools. As an exhibition that spans every area of the garden living lifestyle, it is regarded within the industry as a comprehensive guide for taking in the latest trends at a glance.
With a sharp increase in the participation of leading companies from the European and North American markets, industry anticipation has reached its peak. Driven by enthusiastic applications and a high rate of returning exhibitors, about 1,800 companies will take part, and the exhibition floor space has been greatly expanded compared to the previous edition. With the addition of newcomers and startups, a diverse array of ideas is expected to blossom across roughly 230,000㎡ (70,000 pyeong).
The organizers have selected 'retro' as the keyword for the 2024 outdoor furniture trend. Retro-design furniture incorporating modern elements is expected to lead the year. Attention should be paid to accent furniture and accessories brimming with nostalgic charm, such as vintage-patterned beach chairs, mood-setting parasols adorned with tassel details, and leather sofa covers.
A variety of side events and special exhibits unfolding at the Koelnmesse exhibition center as well as throughout downtown Cologne will further enrich the range of attractions.
At the 'Forum Garden Cafe' within the venue, experts from around the world will explore sustainability in the industry, and forums will be held on a variety of topics such as the latest trends in each product category, ways to leverage AI, and marketing strategies. The special exhibit 'Boulevard of Ideas,' where visitors can examine the newest products and fresh concepts, is located throughout the venue and presents the latest trends by product category. The 'Trend Show Outdoor Lifestyle' in Hall 10.2 is a showroom of innovative products distinguished by unconventional designs and materials.
A tour program of the garden center 'Kremer,' which offers a tangible look at European outerior trends and their current state, will also be held. 'Kremer,' a large flower nursery reborn as a complex cultural center in Germany, is a garden center of roughly 5,000㎡ that combines a greenhouse restaurant, a plant experience cafe, and an outdoor furniture showroom, among other facilities. The program is expected to provide experiential insights for strengthening the competitiveness of the industry's offline distribution platforms and for the mutually beneficial development of the garden industry.
