Opens June 19 in Cologne, Germany
‘spoga+gafa 2022,’ the international garden and leisure industry trade fair, will be held in Cologne, Germany, for three days starting June 19.
spoga+gafa 2022 is a B2B trade show that boasts the highest level of international standing in the garden and outdoor leisure sector. At the previous edition in 2019, 2,281 companies from 67 countries participated, and 40,000 trade visitors from 124 countries attended. 86% of the exhibitors were overseas companies, and as many as 64% of the visitors also came from abroad.
From Korea, a total of four companies—Taeheung EEGI Industry, MIT, KL&C, and Hanbit Tech Lab—participated and carried out active overseas marketing. Taeheung EEGI Industry, which manufactures woodworking and horticultural tools, has been taking part in spoga+gafa for 14 years since 2008. In particular, Taeheung EEGI Industry produces the ‘White Horse’ saw, a saw used for cutting wood, under its own brand.
As demand for gardens and outdoor leisure grows, spoga+gafa presents all the latest trends in one place in an era when outdoor interiors, garden design, and planterior have become important everywhere from hotels, cafés, and restaurants to offices and homes.
The exhibits at spoga+gafa are extremely diverse, including garden furniture, garden interiors and supplies, outdoor sports, camping and leisure, plants and flowers, soil, fertilizer, garden care machinery, woodworking and horticultural tools, lighting and watering, outdoor BBQ, and outdoor kitchens. This year, eco-friendly materials, smart gardens, outdoor kitchens, and outdoor living rooms are drawing particular attention.
