Various Types of Flooring Installed at Consultation Booth for Hands-On Experience
Shinmyung Maru (CEO Kwon Hyuk-tae) took part in the ‘2023 Space Design Fair,’ held at COEX from August 3 to 6, where it introduced Quick-Step products, which the company exclusively imports and distributes in Korea.
This event drew not only general visitors but also more than 45,000 experts from a wide range of fields, including architects and interior design firms. It offered an opportunity to take in the latest interior trends and the materials used to create diverse spaces at a glance, and premium high-end products suited to hotel concepts in particular attracted great interest.
The concept of the feature pavilion (design: Studio Can) was a ‘Hotel VIP Lounge,’ and to create a sophisticated atmosphere it was installed with the Quick-Step Hybrid ‘Soft Oak Grey’ IM3558 product, capturing the attention of many visitors. In addition, a consultation booth set up across from the feature pavilion offered a space where visitors could directly experience and examine various types of flooring, providing them with a practical, hands-on experience.
Held under the subtitle ‘Hotel & Shop Retail Fair,’ this exhibition saw strong participation from hotel professionals looking to create premium commercial spaces, who made up a large share of attendees, and there was high interest in the functionality of Quick-Step products installed at venues such as Dream Tower, Nanta Hotel and Yak Village in Jeju, as well as Lotte Signiel in Seoul and Busan, Daemyung Sono Felice Delpino, WeCoStay Dongdaemun, Lotte World Character Room, and BlueOne Yongin CC. At the consultation booth, information was provided on the durability, eco-friendliness, and various certifications of Quick-Step products, and visitors could check test results firsthand, resulting in high levels of satisfaction.
Regarding the new products ‘MUSE’ and ‘IMPRESSIVE PATTERNS’ introduced at the exhibition, Shinmyung Maru CEO Kwon Hyuk-tae explained, “These are eco-friendly products that combine not only functionality but also durability, and are characterized by designs that break the stereotypes of conventional flooring,” adding, “It was a great opportunity for visitors to experience firsthand the strengths of Quick-Step Hybrid products, such as their 100% waterproof performance, enhanced scratch resistance, and easy installation.”
