Himpel's Stand-Type Air Circulator 'HuBEN S' Earns New Product (NEP) Certification

Himpel (CEO Kim Jung-hwan), a company specializing in ventilation appliances, announced that its stand-type air circulator (ventilation system) HuBEN S has earned New Excellent Product (NEP) certification.
The NEP certification is a program under which the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards selects and certifies products that apply technology first developed domestically or comparable substitute technology and that demonstrate outstanding innovation and marketability, while supporting the expansion of their sales channels.
HuBEN S received its New Product certification as an "energy-saving upright ventilation and air-purifying device" in the electrical and electronics field.
The stand-type air circulator HuBEN S incorporates innovative ventilation technologies—including optimization technology that enhances indoor ventilation efficiency, simultaneous ventilation and air purification, the industry's lowest noise level, and condensation prevention—enabling a comfortable indoor air quality to be created in any environment. In addition, because it can be installed using windows and walls rather than relying on ceiling ducts, it is regarded as a product that overcomes the limitations of conventional air circulators.
It is equipped with a total heat exchange element capable of energy recovery that reduces the heating and cooling energy lost during cooling by more than 70% when exchanging indoor and outdoor air, thereby cutting unnecessary energy waste and reducing the generation of warming-causing substances, contributing to the protection of the global environment.
Furthermore, HuBEN S can minimize COVID-19 cluster infections by lowering the concentration of airborne droplets indoors. Ventilating indoor air 12 times per hour removes 88% of droplets, which typically remain suspended in the air for around 10 minutes, thereby helping to reduce cluster infections caused by airborne transmission.

Meanwhile, the HuBEN S air circulator is a product that enables indoor ventilation even in facilities where natural or frequent ventilation is difficult due to the building structure, and it is achieving steady sales centered on government agencies and multi-use facilities. This year it was supplied to the Daegu COVID-19 Vaccination Center, as well as a welfare center for people with disabilities, a senior welfare center, and daycare centers in Yeongdong-gun, Chungbuk. It was also selected as a product for the 'Seoul Metropolitan Government's National and Public Daycare Center Ventilation Facility Installation Support Project,' and a demonstration project for its expanded distribution to small multi-use facilities is planned to help ensure public safety in daily life.
