Hyundai Elevator earns certification from
Korea Management Association Consulting for the 13th consecutive year

Hyundai Elevator has taken first place for the 13th consecutive year in the ‘2024 Korea Brand Power Index (K-BPI∙Korea Brand Power Index)’ survey certified by Korea Management Association Consulting.
Hyundai Elevator, which has held the No. 1 share of Korea’s new elevator market for 17 consecutive years since 2007, has also ranked first in the maintenance and management market for nine consecutive years. In particular, ‘MIRI,’ an elevator maintenance and management service launched last June, was adopted for more than 25,000 units in just eight months, earning recognition for its excellence.
Incorporating the Internet of Things (IoT), artificial intelligence (AI), cloud and big data, and robot-linkage technologies, ‘MIRI’ has dramatically reduced downtime caused by breakdowns through △component lifespan measurement △fault detection and classification △pre-failure detection and alert services. In particular, it has been praised for improving maintenance efficiency by allowing managers to check the real-time status of elevators through a smartphone app and a dedicated website.
In this K-BPI survey, Hyundai Elevator maintained an overwhelming lead over its competitors. With a composite index of 753.9 points (out of 1,000), it ranked first in both the ‘brand awareness’ category—top-of-mind awareness (49.7%), unaided awareness (85.8%), and aided awareness (90.4%)—and the ‘brand loyalty’ category—image (76.8 points), purchase likelihood (74.2 points), and preference (73.1 points). Second place scored 424.1 points and third place 401.7 points.
K-BPI is a brand competitiveness measurement model developed by Korea Management Association Consulting, which publishes annual survey results composed of brand awareness and loyalty.
