Hyundai Elevator
Support for Child Leukemia Patients and More

Hyundai Elevator is drawing attention with a series of warm-hearted donation activities aimed at underprivileged groups.
Hyundai Elevator has wrapped up its 'Hyundai:Re(cycling) Season 2' campaign. Following its first run in 2023, the 'Hyundai:Re' campaign is an initiative designed to collect clothing, bags, dolls, home appliances and other items that employees rarely use and deliver them to relevant organizations. Held simultaneously at the Chungju headquarters and branch offices nationwide for two months starting last October, the campaign gathered a total of 1,982 items.
Upon learning that the items would be resold through organizations for people with disabilities, employees extended their warm support by donating many goods, including unopened arm warmers, earmuffs and brand-new home appliances. The items collected through this event will be donated to and resold at 'Goodwill Store,' a rehabilitation facility that employs people with disabilities to help them achieve economic independence. In addition, Hyundai Elevator delivered a donation of 3 million won toward the construction of a workplace for people with disabilities.
Prior to this, Hyundai Elevator held a '1st-Place DNA Chocolate' sales event over seven days from December 9 to 16. The '1st-Place DNA Chocolate' sales event involved selling chocolates imprinted with an image symbolizing the company's achievements over the past year. The proceeds are donated to World Vision's 'Support Program for Adolescents Caring for Their Families,' which backs young people's stories of challenge. Contrary to expectations that sales would be sluggish since it was the first such event, employees participated one after another, producing a considerable result of 12 million won in proceeds.
Hyundai Elevator did not overlook its support for child leukemia patients either. This donation activity began in 2009 and has continued uninterrupted for 16 years through 2024. To date, a cumulative total of 2,116 blood donation certificates and 53.7 million won in donations have been delivered to children with leukemia. These events, sustained through the voluntary participation of employees, have become occasions to share heartwarming happiness that goes beyond mere questions of scale.
