Layouts and interior tips provided for 6 office types
Comprising an office showroom, meeting rooms and a main lounge, with opening events
‘DESKER,’ a furniture brand that grows together with people who are just starting out, has officially opened ‘DESKER Planning Store,’ a B2B-only office showroom, in Songpa-gu, Seoul.
DESKER Planning Store is the brand’s third offline space, following the ‘DESKER Signature Store’ in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, and the ‘DESKER Design Store’ in Yeonnam-dong. Having started as a furniture brand for startups, DESKER has developed a deep understanding of the working environments and culture of those running small businesses, and this showroom embodies the know-how and solutions that DESKER has built up along the way.
The new store consists of an office showroom, meeting rooms and a main lounge. The office showroom is a space where visitors can compare layouts by office type at a glance. Using DESKER’s key products, it presents six representative layouts—ranging from the ‘Home Office,’ to offices configured for anywhere from 1 to 10 people, to the ‘Alpha Room’ centered on gaming desks. Guide lines on the products and floor let visitors check product sizes and the recommended widths required for each space, and interior information tailored to each space is provided. In addition, at DESKER Planning Store, professional consultants offer optimal solution consulting for configuring an office, so customers setting up an office for the first time can gain practical tips and inspiration for creating their space simply by visiting the store.
The meeting rooms, available in various sizes, can be used according to the number of people and the nature of the meeting, and can be reserved in advance through the space-sharing platform ‘Space Cloud.’ The main lounge is freely available to anyone who is a DESKER membership subscriber or part of a d.camp family company.
To celebrate its opening, DESKER Planning Store is also running a variety of events. Customers who sign up for integrated membership receive a DESKER organizer, and customers who follow DESKER’s SNS channels receive a calendar featuring DESKER’s exclusive model Nam Joo-hyuk; customers who take photos at the store and post a verification shot with the hashtags #DESKER and #DESKERPlanningStore receive a Nam Joo-hyuk calendar and a Possibility Memo Pad (a set of 3). Customers who receive consultation and make a purchase at DESKER Planning Store from December through February can also receive the Nam Joo-hyuk calendar and Possibility Memo Pad, and can enjoy discounts of up to 20% depending on the purchase amount.
DESKER said that DESKER Planning Store is a space created to help business professionals with different working environments build offices optimized for themselves and draw out the highest work efficiency, and expressed its hope that DESKER Planning Store will become not only a space where business customers grappling with how to configure their offices can gain ideas and grow, but also a mecca for optimal solution consulting. More details about DESKER Planning Store can be found on DESKER’s official Facebook and Instagram channels.
Meanwhile, DESKER, which started in 2016 as a furniture brand that grows together with people who are just starting out, is building brand trust by presenting furniture that resembles its users and products that enable high concentration and flexible thinking. Based on a simplicity focused on the essentials, DESKER is expanding a highly versatile product lineup according to users’ purposes and lifestyles, advancing as a work-and-lifestyle furniture brand that creates better possibilities, and plans to continue increasing its offline stores to expand points of contact with customers.
