'ORGATEC 2022,' the largest B2B exhibition in the office sector, will be held in Cologne, Germany, from October 25 to 29 this year. It marks a return after three years, following the COVID-19 pandemic, since it was last held in 2018.
As of 2018, ORGATEC drew 749 companies from 39 countries and welcomed 63,166 industry professionals from 142 countries. A major international B2B office exhibition, ORGATEC consistently boasts an overseas participation rate exceeding 70%, along with the high caliber of its exhibitors and visitors.
In the upcoming 2022 edition, leading companies from Korea's office furniture sector will participate in force. Alongside Bestuhl, Dawon Chairs, Fursys (Partra), and Chairmeister Wintex, the Korea Pavilion operated by the Korea Furniture Industrial Cooperative Federation is scheduled to take part with a 120㎡ space.
ORGATEC covers not only basic office furniture such as office chairs and desks, but also every kind of furniture and equipment needed in the office, including acoustics, lighting, flooring, and facility equipment. The scope of the office is very broad, ranging from offices, meeting rooms, and lecture halls to lobbies, bookshelves, and terraces.
Attended by the world's top industry decision-makers—including architects, planners, facility managers, and specialized wholesalers and retailers—ORGATEC presents a prime opportunity for manufacturers of office furniture and equipment. As European countries gradually ease their quarantine measures, exhibition space is being booked more quickly amid expectations that daily life and business will return to normal in the second half of this year.
The second application deadline for ORGATEC 2022 is March 31. Those who apply before the deadline receive benefits such as booth allocation and discounted participation fees.
